Last Ride Digital Video is pleased to announce the first contest related to The Archangel Project.
That's right, we're actually having a contest! With prizes! What we are looking for are graphic designers to create two logos to be used within the production itself.Your task, should you choose to accept it, would be to create symbols for The Committee (The administrative group that oversees the support organization behind the Archangel Avatars) and The Directorate (the enforcement/combat support arm of The Committee).
The catch: For The Committee logo -- given the organization's quasi-religious nature -- would have to somehow represent the three Abrahamic religions equally, and upon submission the designer would have to demonstrate how they are represented.
Don’t worry about not being too religious, as religion -- or the promotion of it -- is not a focus of the project.
The Directorate logo is a free-for-all. Be creative! As for the prizes, they're pretty basic.
The designers of the winning logos will receive €500 (Approx US$650 and £415) as well as a flag, in the form of a battle ensign, that contains both symbols. The same battle ensign that will be used to represent the Directorate.Also, the winning designers will be sent a contract stating that -- regardless of Last Ride’s ownership of the winning designs -- they have the right to receive 5% of any profits relating to the merchandising of their creations.
Closing date for submissions will be May 31, 2011 Have fun!

October 2008 - Hetoreyn composes final version of opening theme (which will also be on the website.)
August 2008 - Terry Mialkowsky to produce, and direct vignette entitled "Genesis"
May 2007 - Michael Struck and Neo/fx online to do digital effects.
